Meet Dr. Wong
Dr. Steve Wong
Orthodontist
Dr. Wong was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and has made Indiana his home. He graduated with distinction from Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis. He then completed his orthodontic residency at Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he received his Certificate of Orthodontics and his Master of Science degree. Dr. Wong has been specializing in orthodontics since 1991.

We pride ourselves on our constant attention to detail and the care we provide and have for our patients.”
Dr. Wong is Certified in Orthodontics and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontics, and the Indiana Association of Orthodontics. He is licensed to practice orthodontics in Indiana and Hawaii. Dr. Wong also aids in the education of local dental hygiene and dental assisting students.
Meet Our Team
Under the guidance of our Team Captain, Dr. Wong, we have a highly trained team eager to assist at all stages of treatment. Complete on the job training is provided for all employees so that each patient’s experience at our office is seamless. Dr. Wong also understands the importance of continuing education. The entire team attends seminars regularly to ensure a broadened knowledge of the orthodontic field. Team training and certifications include annual CPR and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) training, to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and employees, as well as extensive continuing education on occlusion and its relationship of the jaws to the skull.
Dr. Wong and team have a concentrated focus on occlusion (how teeth fit together) and the relationship of the jaw to the skull. We follow the adage that ‘form follows function’. We not only want beautiful smiles, but teeth that remain aligned and stable.
Teamwork is also a major focus of our ongoing learning culture. Together we attend teambuilding workshops so we can build the finest orthodontic team in the area. By working together efficiently and having fun we can assure the best experience for each person that enters our office.

Katilyn is an orthodontic assistant who started working for Dr. Wong in 2016. Since being here, Katilyn has gotten married and together they welcomed a little boy, Camden, in May 2024 and a little girl, Kendall, in December 2025.

Alex started doing sterilization work at the office in 2009 and became a full-time employee in 2019. Alex graduated from IUSB in 2019 with a degree in Biology and a minor in Anthropology. She enjoys working alongside family, and watching the transformative impact orthodontic treatment has on our patients. In her free time, Alex loves reading, crafting, and spending time at the lake with friends and family.

Andrea comes from a general dentistry office where she was a dental assistant since 1985. She enjoys still being in the dental field but at a different capacity at our office. Andrea joined our team in September 2024. In her free time, Andrea loves spending time with her husband, their three girls, and her granddaughter.
Our Office
Our office specializes in orthodontics. Orthodontics is the area of dentistry concerned with the prevention and correction of irregularities of the teeth. Orthodontic treatment can be started at almost any age and can be very beneficial. We have patients of all ages and encourage screening around age seven.
Early orthodontic treatment can lead to more simple and effective treatment. Your dental health is our number one priority.
